There is still a month left in 2008, but some of the top search engines including Yahoo and Ask have published the most frequent search queries on their respective search engines for 2008. Google has not yet published its true top queries, but its most popular product searches are available.
Yahoo’s Top Searches

“Hurricanes” takes the top spot for queries in the “news” category, while “IRS Stimulus Checks” ranks first for queries in the “economy” category.

The top three questions asked on Ask.com were:
1) How do I get pregnant?
2) How do I lose weight?

Thats an interesting list. The nintendo wii doesn’t surprise me but Britney Spears still a popular search does
I guess that maybe she’s making a comeback!
It is really surprised to know they search for Britney Spear too many on Yahoo.
